The rich natural setting of this historic house
is in the middle of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags nature
reserve, on the shore of a beautiful alpine lake, at an
elevation of 4900 feet in the South Tyrolean
Dolomites. Now a registered landmark and still a family
business, the Hotel was founded in 1899,
and its architecture is still largely in its original state.
Most of the
rooms
in our hotel are furnished with the original pieces from
the turn of the century, and feature breathtaking views of the
lake and the surrounding mountains.
Especially for nature lovers and active guests, the Hotel's
unique, exclusive location in the heart of the Dolomites,
a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, offers
unforgettable hiking in pristine landscapes.
The luxurious Mediterranean cuisine makes every
stay at the historic Hotel Pragser Wildsee in
Alta Pusteria a memorable
experience.
In
winter too the Hotel is a favorite destination of guests
seeking relaxing days in a snow-covered landscape,
with cross-country skiing, snowshoe hiking, and ski
touring.
When you stay at Hotel Pragser Wildsee, you are a welcome guest
of the historic house, and every attention is given to making
you feel at home.
